| I use Witch Hazel to clean my dogs ears unless they have something going on in there - if there is any blood, even from a little scrape, then the witch hazel will sting. Hmmm...Jayda is a crate spinner, and Neelah is a crate licker.
Looking over the 150+ pictures that Doug took at a seminar last year, almost all of the ones that have my crates in them, you can see Neelah's tongue!
Jayda spins in her crate when over-excited...which is about 35% of her day! |

| I have had a Noz2Noz soft crate for about 8 years, and aside from basic repairs to the mesh fabric (easily accomplished by sewing up hole with heavy thread), and wear spots on the underside (duct tape!) it has held up incredibly well. I agree that some dogs can't be in them if they are escape artist... |

Never heard of it...easiest thing to use to protect against ticks, especially if in a tick endemic area would be Frontline, or better yet, Certifect. While Certifiect is more expensive, it kills ticks faster (6 hours) versus 12 or longer for Frontline.
I've used both on my dogs without any issues. |

I add about 1/2 cup of warm water to a cup of dry food, let it sit for a few minutes while I add the supplements or medications.
Jayda will empty a 2 quart bowl at least once a day, more than that if it is warm out. |

I agree with Rebekah - need to see him moving at a steady pace, coming and going as well as side gait, and he does look a little chunky.

| That's what the Metacam is for - [preventing the limping caused by arthritis or other joint issues. The great thing about it is that you can titrate it down to the lowest effective dose - you can't do that with other NSAID's. If limping when getting up I'd say she is in pain, but just not vocalizing... |
