What is a "restricted USRC registration"?

From the rulebook:

"G. Restricted Registrations
1. Any dog with a USRC Restricted Registration is prohibited from entering any USRC Conformation Shows,
Breed Tests and from being used for breeding. This restriction does not prohibit the dog from entering other
USRC sanctioned events.
2. All dogs with a Limited AKC registration applying for a USRC registration will receive a Restricted USRC
Registration.
3. When applying for a USRC Litter Registration, the breeder may register any individual from the litter as
Restricted.
4. Only the breeder may remove the USRC Registration Restriction.
5. The Registration Restriction may be removed by submission of the original USRC Registration Certificate, the
release of Restriction signed by the breeder and an $5 fee to the USRC Registrar."

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.

AKC limited reg. also prevents the dog from showing in Breed, but they may show in performance events. It is a condition assigned by the breeder, and can be lifted to full reg. by the breeder upon written request. however, one can not move a dog "down" from full reg to limited reg.

I believe Canada also has a limited registration which is similar to AKC EXCEPT they can show in conformation- though I "think" they must be converted to a full registration to get their CH title

Most breeders sell all pet pups on Limited registration, unless they are already spayed or neutered

A lot of breeders in Canada sell on a Non-Breeding Agreement. I thought the AKC used the same terminology.
