AIRK/SARK show in Feb.

Just curious to who all might be attending the show in Charleston. Looking forward to the show season starting back up. Hope to see everyone there. The gang and I will arrive early Saturday and spend the night. We will be showing on Sunday. Hope to see you there and please drive safe.

Looking forward to bringing Addie, and Arisa back to the RING!!!!!! See in a month bro!!!! of course ill have more than just those two there to enjoy the show!!!!!!

Kinda wish it was another judge but Joe is fair. He doesn't really like XL but I think he is going to love Izzy. I really missed last fall show season and I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends.

I look forward to seeing you wild man. Hope you and Gidg had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year. Kinda looks like its going to be Andy, you and me at the show. I guess Troy maybe there. I have talked to a few people that are planning on coming, and Joe usually draws a good turnout from what I have heard. I look forward to showing to him. I spoke to him breifly at the ARV Nationals and the man is filled with wisdom and has been around our breed a long time. It should be a great show. I booked my room the other day and the receptionist told me that she would have to get my rooms approved that they had filled up. So everyone better call soon. Still hope to see people post if they plan on coming.

Yea i do agree, I have spoke with Joe a time or 2 this guy is very knowledgable of this breed, and I also look forward to showing to him!!! I cant wait to get back in the swing!!!!! Yea I got my room 2 weeks ago,, I know that this show always draws a crowd, even lat year in the 1st snow in 20 yrs!!!!! LOL all be safe aand Ill see ya soon!!!

i'm going....bringing a few friends too so it should be fun!!

I guess its time to crate bhaji so he doesnt injure himself before the show...its crazy...the whole off season and nothing...what will happen is when i load him up he'll get hurt....

Tommy you putting arisa in working? I'm trying to figure out where im going to put my dogs....

After reading this thread I figured oh crap I'm not going to get a room. I sent a email to Cheryl and Eric and asked what other hotels are in the area. Eric said call the host hotel so I did and I got a room at the show rate. If anyone else needs a room you better try calling soon.

I asked the lady on the phone how far away from the ocean and she said 20 minutes to the beach

. Yeah I know it is still February but I'm a NYer and it is going to feel like summer even if it's 50 degrees :lol:

Eric called me today and asked me to post this...

There are plenty of rooms available right now at a rate of $54. Normal rate is $78-85. As o now only 40 entries when he usually has 60 at this point.

I have not personally reserved a room or sent in an entry.

Did you happen to mention to Eric that they have told a few of us that they are claiming to be running out of rooms? I would think this could just be a marketing thing and they really just want to get the rooms reserved as soon as possible. Regardless I am glad they still have plenty of rooms. I also hope they start getting some more entries because it is only nine days til the entries close. I hope everyone has a safe trip. Please still post, almost 400 views and only 6-8 people say they are coming.

Just wanted to update. Cheryl emailed me last night and said they had 70 entries in with more coming. I'm going to need a helper in 18-24 month male. I have been out running with Izzy but I'm not doing so good. Maybe it is just because it is so cold up here but it seems that surgery took a lot out of me

XL is in open male and he will pretty much run himself but someone still has to hold his leash LOL. Don't worry about XL because Joe doesn't like him anyway. Besides, you may be too tired after Izzy drags you around out there LOL. He is a big strong boy and he doesn't know the routine yet

Andy should be commended!! I tried to run the dog...Kimmy tried to run the dog but in the end Andy suppressed his pain and ran his lovely dog....congrats to Andy!!!

Great!!! Bhaji has to show against evie and Kimmy...with dogs he's beat everytime he's competed....glad I have a videographer at this show to document this....let's see what happens shall we?

Congrats on the V2 with Bhaji - who was V1 in the Working Males class?

It was a great weekend and even better monday. No pressure on Monday just a nice walk on the beach in 72 degree weather

Izzy got V-3 first time out and XL got a V rating but didn't place. All three of us need a bit more conditioning but we will be better next month for sure. Thanks to Kimmy and Joe for the help and thanks to Tommy for offering to help !

I left Myrtle beach at noon on Monday and it was 72 degrees. Pulled into my driveway Tuesday morning and it was 9 degrees ( wind chill -5 below )
