USRC/SPARK SELECT SHOW APRIL 9 & 10

Please be advised SPARK will STILL be hosting our normal show on April 8 & 9 at the Kimberton Fairgrounds. Our judges will be Herr Werner Walter, ADRK & FCI judge Alfredo Estrada, Mexico. We look forward to seeing all our friends and supporters for this show. More information will be posted shortly on SPARK's website. Any questions please contact us at 610-639-4064. I would like to thank SPARK for stepping up and submitting a bid to host our NSS and GBM when no other club was willing to do so. I wish that the ballot would have stood so that we could have seen those EB members that voted not to have this event.

Perhaps we could make them responsible for hosting an event, rather than sitting back and claiming foul due to a technicality regarding a few days of rules on a ballot. Somewhere along the line we have to have people with just a tad of common sense or the USRC is in for a very rocky road.

In the event that the USRC does not have a NSS and GBM this year, I would ask the membership to recognize those EB members that did not support this ballot and place blame squarely on their shoulders. Again, SPARK was the only club that stepped up host the Nationals. I would also remember this the next time we have a GBM and ask yourself, do these individuals truly care about promoting the rottweiler, or are they more concerned with finding ways to pick apart a club.

I have been told this is not longer a USRC event. And that it is two shows one weekend. I for one am all for the two shows in one weekend :wink:

Just want to see if the date is correct, says 8th and 9th which would make it a friday and saturday. Should be the 9th and 10th right?

SPARK is pleased to announce our show will be held April 9 & 10th at the Variety Club Camp located in Worcester, PA. Overseeing the show will be FCI Judge Alfredo Estrada, Mexico. Our premium should be listed shortly on the USRC website and we look forward to seeing all our friends and your dogs.

SPARK has secured a 25-room block for April 8-10 with Holiday Inn Lansdale located10 minutes from the show site!!!

Rates are $89.99/night; flat pet fee of $25. Guests can book rooms at this rate until the block is full or April 5th, whichever comes first.

Entrants can start booking rooms on March 24th. Please reference Southeastern PA Rottweiler Klub when booking.

Holiday Inn Lansdale GRACIOUSLY stepped up to help SPARK at the last minute and is very dog show friendly playing host to several dog shows per year! Please lets support our new host hotel!

I forgot to mention that hotel rates are only good for PHONED in reservations. The hotel cannot guarantee rates or availability for online reservations, especially through discount sites such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, etc.

Also a REMINDER: You MUST include your email address with your entry if you wish to receive entry cofirmation!!! We are receiving entries with no email or phone number - if you do not provide this information we cannot confirm or contact you in the event of issues!

Just a quick update! Judge Alfredo Estrada is excited about our show and he looks forward to meeting all the exhibitors and their dogs. Weather is breaking some and hopefully we get lucky and rain holds off. Remember we are at a different location then last year's show. Holiday Inn in Lansdale has been great with everyone so if you need anything just let them know. Bring your appetite as I just ordered all the Italian rolls from the conshohocken bakery. We will be serving breakfest sandwich's with bacon and sausage. For lunch we will offer Philly cheesesteaks and sweet Italian sausage and meatball sandwich's. We will have long hot Italian peppers this year marinated in olive oil as requested by some last year. Have a safe journey and we look forward to seeing all our friends this weekend.
