I was able to attend the NIRK Sanctioned Show hosted by the Texican Rottweiler Club on Saturday, October 29th under Judge Jill Kessler Miller. It was my first time to show under this judge but hope I will be able to do so again in the future. Ms. Miller was very enjoyable to present your dogs to and besides her critques she took extra time to talk about each dog and explain her comments. Her love for the dogs was very obvious and she made it a pleasant experience for all involved. Though there was not a large number of entries, there were some really beautiful represenatives of the breed. Some very nice structure and thus nice moving dogs and a great collection of dogs with outstanding mouth pigment which the judge commented about several times.
I want to thank Lew Olson, Jeff Shaver, Toni Skiles, Beth Phelps and all the members of TRC for putting on a nice event. I look forward to returning again next year.
