Choice #1: "Litter Registration Application"

This method is only to register the litter, and then after the individual registration applications arrive then each of your puppy buyers then has to pay $30 to register each puppy individually.

This is your regular standard "Litter Registration Application", the same as if you go online and register a litter. This is the one we're all familiar with.

Choice #2: "Full Litter Registration Application"
$25 fee to register the litter
$22 per puppy to name and register all the puppies to the breeder
$10 Supplemental Transfer per puppy
$12 for each pedigree you wish to purchase per puppy
$10 per puppy for each Lost and Found if you wish to purchase
$65 if you're six months late
This method means after you sell one of the puppies that the puppy then has to be transferred with a Supplemental Transfer Statement which costs an additional $10 per puppy.

$0 fee to register the litter, but you've already completed Choice #1 which cost $25 fee to register the litter & $2.00 per puppy additional fee
$20 per puppy to name and register each individual puppy to the breeder/owner of the litter only
$12 per puppy for a pedigree if you wish to purchase
$10 for each Lost and Found you wish to purchase per puppy

In this option you can just name a few puppies in the litter, you don't have to do them all.

Did you know that you can call AKC and request a litter registration discount coupon? Sometimes they offer to mail the coupons and if you get the right person on the phone they will just give you the codes right over the phone, and they offer codes for discounts on as many as three litters at a time. They do say that you can't share these codes with other breeders so each breeder needs to call and get their own codes.

As an example, on a litter registration for 11 puppies AKC charges a $25 registration fee plus $2.00 per puppy which would cost you a total of $47.

With the coupon you save the per puppy fee and in addition they give you a $5.00 credit for a total savings of $27 so your bill for registering the litter is only $20 total instead of $47.
